Hezy Ram , CEO and President
Hezy Ram established Ram Power, Inc. in 2008, with the goal of becoming a leader in the geothermal power industry. He was Executive Vice President for ORMAT Technologies, Inc., responsible for Mergers and Acquisitions and green-field development of geothermal and other technology projects. Other areas of responsibility included acquisitions of competing IPP’s and developmental projects, finance & leveraging of acquired or developed projects, negotiating contracts with utilities and coordinating project execution. Hezy is considered as a global player in the development, manufacturing, marketing and financing of innovative power systems. His education includes an MBA, Hebrew University, and a BS and M S in Mechanical Engineering, both from Ben Gurion University.

Daniel N. (Dan) Schochet, Executive Vice President
Dan’s experience includes serving as Vice President for ORMAT where he established Ormat’s US geothermal division, and developed project opportunities in the geothermal power development, EGS research, and recovered energy systems. He played a pivotal role in the development of geothermal power generation in Nevada and California and served as a Member of the Board of the Geothermal Resources Council (GRC), the Western Governors Association, CDEAC Committee and as Chairman of the Nevada Renewable Energy Transmission Access Advisory Committee. He is a holder of the Aidlin Award from the GRC. His prior experience included technical and management positions in the biomedical and aerospace industries. His education includes: a BEE from, Cooper Union and an MSEE from Columbia University.

Stuart D. (Stu) Johnson , Vice President Geothermal Resources
Stu is responsible for the acquisition, evaluation and development of geothermal projects. His experience since 1972 has included exploration and development of major geothermal fields in the Western US as well as internationally. Stu has been on both the Geothermal Energy Association and the Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) Managing Boards. He is a past president of the GRC and is a holder of the Pioneer Award of the GRC. His education includes an MS in Economic Geology, University of Wisconsin and a BA in Geology, Western Michigan University.

Christy L. Morris , Vice President of Land and Permitting
Christy directs Ram’s land management, and regulatory affairs. Since 1988 she has worked in minerals exploration and environmental consulting to the mining and geothermal industries. Christy was at ORMAT from 2001 to 2005, and managed their regulatory affairs for project development and exploration. She was the principal investigator for the DOE Desert Peak EGS project, coordinating well work over, consultant and contractor agreements, permitting, and reporting. From 2005 through 2008 she was Oil, Gas and Geothermal Program Manager for the State of Nevada, overseeing the drilling and operation of all oil, gas and geothermal wells in the State. She served on Nevada’s Renewable Energy Transmission Advisory Committee, and as representative to the Western Governor’s Renewable Energy Zones Committee. Her education includes: a BS in Geology and Geo-archaeology from the University of Tennessee, Graduate Studies in Geology and Geo-archaeology at the University of Arizona.

Paul (Pavel) Zavesov , Vice President and CFO
Paul directs all finance and fiscal control activities for Ram Power. He was Deputy Director Geothermal Business Development for ORMAT with responsibility for identifying and pursuing opportunities for market expansion; project finance; negotiating PPAs. As Asset Manager for ORMAT his responsibilities included contract management and compliance, cash management, financial planning, taxes, royalties, budgeting and forecasting, liaison with customers, government authorities and lenders. Internationally, Paul was CEO of Karaganda Power Ltd. a former joint venture of ORMAT and International Power Plc. in Kazakhstan. His financial management career began in 1996 as a risk analyst with a major mortgage bank.His education includes: a MBA, Ben Gurion University, and a BA, Tel Aviv University.

Michael Long, PE, Vice President Engineering and Construction

Mike brings 18 plus years of experience in project management and mechanical engineering for utility and geothermal projects to his role at Ram Power. His project experience includes Operations Manager for Western GeoPower Inc. with responsibility for the overall project management, of the 35 MW Geysers #1Power project. Previously he was the project director for POWER Engineers, Inc’s worldwide geothermal plant design and construction activities including POWER’s geothermal project in Germencik Turkey, the Enel Stillwater/Salt Wells binary power projects in Nevada, the CalEnergy power plants in the Salton Sea Area, the ICE Geothermal Power Plants in Costa Rica, the Olkaria geothermal projects in Kenya, the Cierro Prieto project for CFE in Mexico, the Mindanao Projects in the Philippines and the design of the Dixie Valley Project. His education includes an M.S in, Mechanical Engineering, U of Colorado, and a B.S., Mineral/Environmental Engineering, Colorado School of Mines. He is a registered PE in Cal., Idaho and Col. and a director of the Geothermal Energy Association.

C. Tom Ogryzlo, Senior Vice President , Latin America
Tom Ogryzlo has over
thirty years of experience in the mining and engineering contractor industries and
energy projects. He founded and served as the President, Chief Executive Officer and a
director of Polaris Geothermal Inc. He has served as a director of of many mining companies including Tiomin Resources Inc., Birim Goldfields Inc. Baja Mining Corp. and Franco-Nevada Mining Corp Ltd. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Canatec Development Corporation, a resource management company, and Black Hawk Mining Inc, Triton Mining Corp and SNC-Lavalin Inc., a mining engineering company. He directed process development for Hanna Mining, as project manager and subsequently as President and General Manager, for the Cerro Matoso project in Columbia.. Tom was Senior Vice President and of Wright Engineers Ltd, a Canadian engineering company. He holds a BME from McGill University.

Eddie Sadan , Vice President Business Development
Eddie has responsibility for mergers, acquisitions, jv relationships, corporate and project financing and strategic alliances. As Director of Business Development for ORMAT his duties included managing due diligence & participation in negotiations, debt and equity financing of geothermal, rule 144 bond offerings, leveraged sale & leasebacks and tax partnerships, and financial evaluation of business opportunities. Eddie’s decade of legal, financial and business experience includes Independent consulting for private equity and M&A transactions, investment banking and economic consulting, with responsibilities for analyses, fairness opinions and valuations. His education includes an MA in Economics, a BA in Economics, and a L.L.B, all from Tel Aviv University.

Edi Koren, Vice President Sales & Marketing
Edi is responsible for the development of geothermal, and solar thermal projects, integrating new technologies and building technological partnerships. Edi previously served as Marketing Manager for Ormat where he was responsible for sales and marketing in Europe and Central America, including negotiating contracts with utilities and private developers, initiation and negotiating JV agreements for power projects, and developing marketing tools. During the last 15 years, Edi held managerial positions in the electronics and high-tech industries, with responsibility for market development, setting up and managing channels of distribution, development of strategic alliances, development of marketing tools, responsibility for managing of sales teams. His education includes a BS in Mechanical Engineering - University of Massachusetts.
